CREATION HIGH has been bringing its cutting edge after-school programs learning to Toronto’s top private schools since 2008. Our sensory learning methods have been proven to improve cognitive skills, build relaxation skills, and promote physical/emotional well-being and they help students unleash their innate creative mindset.
All programs are designed by our founder, Karen Zila Hayes, whose work in Applied Sensory Learning has been cited internationally in such publications as The New York Times, The Toronto Globe and Mail and Jornal Pampulha (Brazil).
Our flagship program, The Wonder of Knitting, …..and her mindfulness-based colouring book, The Shaded Tree, has been used in classrooms in Ontario and Quebec.
Our multi-age, multi-sensory programs not only engage and inspire, they sharpen and refine learning skills, and aid in relaxation and stress-management. We tailor our methods to each student, based on his/her age and learning style.
